The view of Lake Constance is not only impressive in the summer, but is a wonderful experience in winter too, and does wonders for its guests, promoting rest and relaxation. The winter landscape, delicious gastronomic delicacies and skiing and snowboarding with a view of the deep blue depths of Lake Constance delight visitors to Pfänder.
Many escape the mist in the valley and revel in the clear mountain tops, where they can soak up the sun.
Skiing, snowboarding
2 drag lifts (the Maldona and Dohle lifts) are at guests’ disposal for piste-related pleasures. Slopes and downhill runs are groomed as far as Bregenz and Lochau when snow conditions are at their best. Skiing and snowboarding with wonderful lake and mountain views.
The ski lifts by the top station operate daily from 10 am to 4:30 pm when snow conditions permit. The Pfänder cable car operates daily from 8 am to 7 pm.

Tobogganing pleasure
Tobogganing in Pfänder is really great fun. A special sledging valley has been created for the kids near the Pfänderdohle guesthouse. (Please bring own sledges).
Cross-country skiing
The cross-country runs in Pfänder are tracked and maintained when snow conditions permit!
Start: near the Pfänder Alp (south) – approx. 5 minutes’ walk from the top station.
Length: 7 km to Eichenberg-Letze and back
Tracks: traditional
Winter hiking
Enjoy relaxed winter hiking, and choose from a network of trails covering 30 km.
(not cleared). Good equipment is required!
Snow shoe hiking
The low inclines mean that the Pfänder area provides excellent terrain for extended snow shoe hikes. We are happy to organise a guide for groups.
