Residence Rosalp is a luxury châlet built some fifteen years ago and is situated on level with the original village (5 min walk to shops). The 8-seater Cabin lift (inaugurated 2000) is 15 minutes walk away or, alternatively, there is a free ”shuttle-bus” every 15 min at the street corner.
Rosalp 316 is our week-end retreat, sometimes with our adult children and their families. Therefore it is completely equipped and regularly refreshed. In June 2004 we had the apartment renovated and added a mezzanine (loft) and extended the dining area. We are two non-smokers without pets, but tolerant.
Under the building we have a garage box (K) with direct access to the 3rd floor by elevator. At garage level there is also a laundry room with modern washer and dryer. We have a ski-box in a room right to the elevator at 0-level.
The apartment in itself is a duplex of 100 m2 under a sloping wooden roof with apparent beams and an open fire, giving the real châlet-feeling. It is classified 4-star (FST). On the entrance floor there are two bedrooms (north) and the living room (south) with an open kitchen plus dining area. Each bedroom has individual WC and hand basin, and one, at the entrance level, also has a steam sauna/shower. Each bedroom has comfortable double-beds and a balcony.
Upstairs there is a third bedroom with WC and bath. Half-way upstairs is a mezzanine under the sloping roof with an extra sofa double-bed and a (foldable) baby-bed. This loggia, above the dining area, has wall-to-wall carpeting and is a much appreciated play-room for children.
The kitchen/dining area is completely outfitted with equipment of highest standard. The media include CD/VCR/DVD/TV (cable 7 languages) and a connection to the Internet. The living-room balcony can seat 6 for breakfast or used for relaxing in sun chairs. The view is undisturbed 180 degrees and can only be described by photos.
