Alte Post Holiday Farm – Welcome among friends!

Our "Alte-Post" holiday farm is a holiday recreational venue for the whole family. 3.200 m² of gardens around the house lend idyllic picture-book beauty to your stay.
Nestled in the Carinthia nature area, the Alte Post awaits your visit, in one of the sunniest of the upper Carinthia valleys, the Gitsch valley.

Enjoy your stay in one of our 11 family holiday homes. Our HH are exclusively non-smoking. We also offer you specially chosen accommodation for those with allergies. Do you like to take holidays independently, in fully furnished holiday homes? Or can you not bear to miss out on the breakfast buffet or demipension? At the Alte Post holiday farm, we give you the choice...

Holiday on the farm
Under the new motto "Let loose – Slow down at the farm", we invite you to visit our in-house farm. Ponies, hares, cats, rams, mountain goats with offspring,... happy with the new guests and playmates – from young to old...

Activities, winter fun on the holiday farm – for old and young...

Ski areas for families and beginners with snow guaranteed (3 T-bar lifts), ski school, ski rental, children’s ski lessons, children’s ski races, ski huts, yodelling evenings, sporting and cultural events.
A free shuttle bus to the "Millennium Express" (Tröpolach valley station - Sonnenalpe Nassfeld with over 30 ski lifts and approx. 100 km of slopes) With the ski bus stop in front of our farmhouse.

Indoor swimming pool in Weißbriach, Cross-country skiing in the vicinity, Illuminated toboggan trails, winter hiking trails, curling, torchlight night hiking with aid stations and campfire, horse-drawn buggies, toboggan parties, taster rides, hiking through pastures with snow-shoes, small excursions via the "Alte Post-Express" to the ski lifts and around Weißbriach.

Ice sports on the white lake (6.5 km² of unbroken natural ice)
Events: ice-skating marathon, ice girl tournament and more.
