Les Crosets

This village, located at 1,668m, is the ideal jumping-off point for families, sports lovers and anyone who wants to explore the Portes du Soleil. In winter, the resort boasts excellent snow conditions and a quick-as-a-wink connection with France over the spectacular pointe des Mossettes lift (2,277m).
Lest you think otherwise, Les Crosets is not just about skiing. A multitude of other activities await our visitor. In summer, the snow melts and gives way to an infinite number of hiking and all-terrain biking trails, criss-crossing the alpine pastures and leading to rustic local eateries and rest-stops. Fishing enthusiasts will love the Lac Vert, also the setting of a charming animal park with animals from around the world. One summer highlight is the foire du bétail, an unforgettable event which showcases music, local artisans and traditions against a backdrop of local farmers conducting the very serious business of buying and selling their livestock. There are also all-terrain mountain biking competitions.

Champoussin

This Valaisan village, built in the architectural style typical of the Val d’Illiez, will enchant you with its rustic authenticity. The resort is situated at an altitude of 1,600m with the majestic Dents du Midi Mountains as a backdrop. In Summer, Champoussin offers a multitude of activities for everyone: paragliding, horseback riding, hiking. Not to mention a goat farm to visit with cheese making demonstrations and cheese tasting to follow, an alpine museum to explore… At the end of the day, treat yourself to a special meal that showcases the regions specialties and local terroir. In summer, the fête du bois is a fun and educational festival where local artisans demonstrate all aspects of woodworking. The fête des jeux, or games festival, is an occasion for young and old alike to test themselves at different games and challenges.
