A gateway to the most famous and the largest ski area in the world: Les 3 Vallées, Les Menuires allows you to access 8 resorts, 600km of pistes (85% of which are over 1,800 metres altitude), 50,000 metres of drops and some of the most emblematic summits in the Alps such as Cime de Caron (at 3,200 m), Saulire (at 2,700m) and Mont du Vallon (at 2,952 m).

Created out of nothing in 1964, following the famous ski resort development concept Plan Neige (Snow Plan), the resort is today considered a prime example of modernist architecture. Emblematic 70s style buildings are intermixed with recent constructions (Savoyardinspired chalets and free-standing residences etc...) to create an unusual and incredibly popular architectural heritage. The ‘Brelin’ residence, a historical liner-inspired block of flats connected to Croisette was honoured with the “20th century heritage” label in 2003. The contemporary bell tower received the first prize for metallic architecture in 2000.

Designed in partnership with the Vanoise national Park, this new children’s fun area features a parallel slalom, banked turns, moguls, tunnels and games based on the theme of mountain flora and fauna. “Did you know marmots eat over 100kg of food before winter? ” At the end of the route is a chilling zone which has an educational focus, where you can enjoy sitting on the large wooden terrace. The terrace’s distinctive feature? It is all made from recycled wooden pallets. Zero waste but 100% enjoyment! Free.

Chalet Lodge Pure Valley

A new top-of-the-range accommodation has been built at the foot of the Bettaix piste in the Preyerand neighbourhood. Starting from this winter, Chalet Lodge Pure Valley is renting out its 5 122 to 222 m2 duplex apartments which can accommodate from 8 to 16 people. A new luxury place to stay with a décor, finishing touches and facilities worthy of a prestigious hotel. A ski school and a ski shop are also planned to be put in at the foot of the chalet for ultimate convenience. A 4* hotel with 380 beds completes the exceptional selection of accommodation options on offer from December 2022.

Planté au sommet de la télécabine Roc 1, le petit frère des hôtels Fahrenheit Seven de Courchevel et Val Thorens en reprend les codes rétro-vintage dans un restaurant d’altitude italo-chic où déguster focaccia, risotto, osso bucco, pizza ou pasta.
