Mittersill-Hollersbach-Stuhlfelden is truly an El Dorado for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, whether their interests are classic cross-country or skating, whether they are beginners or advanced, whether they are cross-country skiing as a hobby or are high-powered sports fanatics - its features range from the gentle charm of the Pinzga cross-country course in the valley, via the artificially snow-covered Blizzard cross-country course (illuminated at night and situated in Mittersill´s town centre), right through to the challenging Hochmoor cross-country course.

The Hochmoor cross-country course is an absolute highlight: here on a sun plateau at a height of 1,200 m, the snow-sure cross-country course provides an absolute dream of a view over the Hohe Tauern National Park´snow-topped peaks, 3,000 metres up.
