This route takes you through the Batsurguère valley, a small valley hidden behind the Béout peak overlooking Lourdes and the Sanctuary. A succession of 5 magnificent Bigourdan villages, interspersed with lush green meadows, you'll be immersed in a truly idyllic setting, with the majestic Pic du Pibeste and its Regional Nature Reserve on your right, and the summit of Béout on your right, which you'll circle. The site is home to ancient sarcophagus quarries used between the 4th and 9th centuries.
