From Roccaforte you cross the provincial road that goes towards Colle Mort and take the path that, crossing gentle hills and broadleaf woods, reaches the hamlet of Garavagna. From here you continue firstly on a forest trail, then on a dirt road that becomes asphalt, until you reach the lake of Pianfei. Here you meet the intersection with Via Castanea which allows you to reach Chiusa di Pesio on one side and the village of Pianfei on the other.
At Lago di Pianfei there is the intersection with via Castanea.
