In Lasa, interested visitors can take a guided tour and learn firsthand about quarrying, use and the myth surrounding the white gold.

Of the most unusual tours in South Tyrol are the marble hikes to the marble quarries in the Stilfser Joch National Park: the Lasa Marble Trail-Sloped Railway Platform and the Covelano Marble Trail.
The interior of the centuries-old marble quarry itself cannot be visited for safety reasons, but the walks are still a highlight for nature and cultural hikers.
