The region offers about 38 km of cross-country trails, suitable for both skating and classic technique. In the midst of peaceful nature and surrounded by some of the most beautiful Dolomite peaks, you will enjoy unforgettable and relaxing days.

The Alta Badia - San Cassiano/Armentarola Cross-country Ski Centre is located in the village of Sarè/Armentarola, 3 km from San Cassiano. The cross-country skiing track stretches for 25 km across meadows and woods at the foot of the Conturines, Lavarella and Settsass mountain range. At the starting point of the trail you will find a service centre with ski school, ski rental, toilets, changing rooms, bar and restaurant with hot food throughout. The cross-country ski trail is suitable for both classic and skating skiing and, in addition to the yellow marked practice trail, offers six routes of varying difficulty: Sass Dlacia, Sarè, Pinais, Pre de Costa, Störes and Conturines. The last two are intended as racing or training tracks. In case of insufficient snow conditions, about 4 km of trails are covered with artificial snow.

The trails in the natural area of the Armentara meadows in La Val have a special charm. Just outside La Val, in the village of La Cialciara above Furnacia, is the car park for the trails.
