From Krimml, the first section leads via the Gerlos Alpine Road. Once at the pass height, turn left towards Hochkrimml. Here you will be rewarded with a wonderful mountain panorama. On the only slightly ascending path between OT Filzstein and OT Silberleiten, you can gather some strength again before the last section to the quaint Gletscherblickalm leads upwards again.

Coming from Tyrol via Hainzenberg, via B165 from the direction of Mittersill.

Public transport

When arriving by Pinzgauer Lokalbahn, a rail replacement service has been set up between the stops "Niedernsill" and "Krimml Station".

For carrying bicycles, timely reservation via phone +43 (0)6562 40600 is absolutely necessary.

Next to the federal road there are well-signposted, paid parking spaces.
