Arzl im Pitztal

Arzl, with about 3,000 residents and covering 30km², is located at the foot of the Pitztal valley and lies approximately 15km from the ski and walking resort of Hochzeiger (Wald approximately 11km, Leins approximately 7.5km). The free guest bus takes you to the bottom lift station of the resort. It is 37km up the valley to Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee resorts in St. Leonhard in Pitztal.

The district’s capital, Imst, is nearby and offers a range of activities: indoor-climbing, shopping facilities, culture … and it is about an hour’s drive to reach the region’s capital, Innsbruck. Guests travelling in groups by bus or on motorcycles appreciate Arzl’s central position in the Alps. Trips to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany and South Tyrol can comfortably be accommodated in a day trip.
