Hitzkirch - the centre of the Seetal with charisma!

Hitzkirch, the most populous municipality in the lower Seetal, has traditionally always had a kind of centre function due to its size.

In summer, you can cool off in the unspoilt bathing area at Lake Baldeggersee and in the lakeside resort at Lake Hallwilersee.

The Heidegg Castle in Gelfingen, the Alte Schmitte and the megalithic tower in Richensee, the early Baroque parish church in Hitzkirch and the Teutonic Knights' lodge with its historic knights' hall are all well worth a visit.
