Stubaital

The Stubai Valley is one of the few valleys that can be viewed in its entirety—from its entrance all the way to the highest peaks of its main ridge. The valley’s five villages—Schönberg, Mieders, Telfes, Fulpmes, and Neustift—appear clustered around their church steeples. The glacier-covered main ridge of the Stubai Alps, with its highest peak, the Zuckerhütl, forms the valley’s terminus, visible from afar.
The valley floor is characterized by a mix of settlements, meadows, and valley forests.
