Die Ossola-Tiefebene wird vom Fluss Toce durchkreuzt, der im Formazzatal entspringt, den berühmten Wasserfall Cascata del Toce hervorbringt, die vielen anderen Zuflüsse von den anderen Ossola-Talebenen aufnimmt und sich wenige Kilometer weiter südlich in den Lago Maggiore ergießt.
