Hotel Goldried

Hotel Goldried is located in Central Europe's largest National Park, Hohe Tauern and one of the most scenically located hotels in the Alps. The building sits at 1,000 metres altitude with views of the village of Matrei in Osttirol and right next to Austria's highest mountain, Grossglockner. Skiing all the way up to the hotel door.

For many years now, families, relatives, friends and other groups have been coming here to ski, hike and relax in genuine and peaceful surroundings. The hotel's design with rooms and apartments of various sizes allows different generations to holiday together in a way that lets everyone in the group get the most out of their stay.

Hotel Goldried is the hotel for all generations. Here you'll find restaurants with Tyrolean and international delicacies, outdoor food service, piano bar, clubroom, play and game room, a sun terrace with playground, after-ski hut, ski and boots storage and a garage.

We are well-known for our East Tyrolean hospitality, combined with a friendly and casual atmosphere.

Hotel Goldried is located a little up the mountain. The quickest way to the hotel door is by our own cable car. This saves you from walking up the steep hillsides.

Man's best friend, the dog, is also welcome here – but not in our bars and restaurants.
