In winter, skiers meet up at Schwannerlift in Mitterweerberg or at the Hüttegglift in the Hausstatt at Weerberg.
The special feature of our ski areas is the manageable size of its slopes, on which you'll never lose sight of your children. Here you exchange sunny mountain panoramas for numerous lift supports, a nice chat with a ski instructor for long queues at the lift, birds twittering for loud parties.

Just as delightful and exciting is winter hiking by Weerberg. The Gilfert is the most popular mountain for ski touring for many Tiroleans.
A tobogganing session in the mountains is a must when on winter holidays. For families there are shorter runs, for the ambitious there are long toboggan runs with great mountain panoramas – and of course "tasty" options for stopping off for a drink or snack.
